Agency Purpose
- We believe that home health services are an essential part of the health care delivery system. By providing continuing care to clients in their own homes, the effects of illness, injury, or disability are minimized.
- The agency recognizes the worth of a person, including the elderly and those with disabilities. We believe the contributions of these persons are no less important than the contributions of other members of our society. That is why we are dedicated to helping these persons retain or regain their maximum participation in society.
- We recognize that the aging process is an unavoidable part of life. We also understand that chronic disease may be part of that process. So in providing care of clients, MSCSLLC recognizes the rights of clients and their family members to self-determinations. They have the right to participate in the planning of their care, make decisions about their health care, and maintain their independence as long as possible.
- Health education is an integral part of the agency’s program. Hence, we commit to hastening the healing, recovery, and rehabilitation of seniors and those dealing with illness or disabilities within their home environment, promoting maximized health, retention of self-respect, and independence. However, when rehabilitation or recovery is not realistic, we commit to providing the appropriate care and coordinated services to terminally-ill individuals, supporting their dignity and self-respect.
